With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, I have always had a strong passion for property and working with people. After stepping away from the industry to have my two children, Liam and Matilda, I returned to the workforce in 2019, working part-time in a fantastic real estate office before eventually moving into running a real estate business.
In 2023, I decided it was time for a fresh start and began looking for a new direction. Although I initially considered returning to real estate, I found myself drawn to something different and decided to explore the world of conveyancing.
I joined iSettlements in May 2024 and quickly discovered just how much knowledge, skill and attention to detail goes into the settlement process. Coming from a real estate background, I had always understood the importance of getting a property sale across the line, but I hadn’t appreciated just how much work happens behind the scenes to make that happen. Settlements are very different from real estate, and I have loved the challenge of learning an entirely new side of the property industry.
I am very fortunate to be part of such a supportive and successful team at iSettlements. I particularly enjoy working alongside my colleagues and continuing to learn every day. My boss, Nicole, is an incredible mentor who goes above and beyond for her clients, and I feel very lucky to be able to learn from her experience and expertise.
I have genuinely found my home in conveyancing and can’t see myself leaving iSettlements anytime soon!
Outside of work, I am a mum to two children and an avid pop culture collector. I love spending time with my kids, whether we’re exploring one of the many zoos around Australia, heading to the movies or simply enjoying time together. I also love attending pop culture conventions, where I get to meet some of my favourite TV and movie stars and share my passion with fellow fans. I feel completely at home at conventions and have made some wonderful friendships with people who share the same interests and just get me. For me, it’s a great combination of family time, fun and celebrating the things I love.
